I started properly learning human anatomy and drawing it October 2020. The start was not my favourite as it was hours and hours of going through all the details of skeleton, then muscles and finally skin. At one point I was seeing leg muscles and skulls in my dreams. That is how much I was practicing. To be honest, I am still learning, but I have become much more confident with portraying a human being. Something that I did not even dare to try a year ago.

This drawing is the first finished artwork which I made for my dear friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer. I call this piece ‘The Gaze’. It is a very emotional piece for me; however, I am extremely proud of myself being able to produce it.
