One might say that you are not an artist until you have produced at least one self-portrait. I produced quite a few, but this one is the only one I am prepared to share with you. What can I say, this is who I am and how I see myself. I thought that it was just fair to start with the simple and straight looking view. However, it was just bizarre to draw myself and I started questioning, do people see me like this or is it just me?
And then I decided to draw something else, which is me – my hands. I love my tattoos and they form a very important part of me (well, it would have been awkward if I did not love them, considering how many I have…). You can see that they have featured both in my self portrait and also in the drawing of my hands. But that is it –simply me.
